- Keep your sign-in details safe, and check important figures against your bank.
- The service is free today. We will give notice before any paid plan and you can always export your data.
This summary is for convenience. The full text below is what applies.
01Agreeing to these terms
By creating an account, using Wallet Tracker, or joining the waitlist, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
02Who can use it
You must be at least 16 years old, or the minimum age required where you live, and able to form a binding agreement. If you use Wallet Tracker on behalf of someone else, you confirm you are allowed to do so.
03What Wallet Tracker is, and is not
Wallet Tracker helps you record and understand your own finances. Specifically:
- It is not a bank, payment service or wallet. It does not hold money, connect to your bank, or make payments. Marking a bill as paid only records it.
- Balances, budgets and reports are calculated from what you enter, so they are only as accurate as your records.
- Exchange rates are daily reference rates from a third-party provider. They may differ from the rate your bank or card applies, and are offered as suggestions only. The rate saved on a transfer is the one you confirm.
04No financial advice
Nothing in Wallet Tracker is financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice. Decisions you make based on what you see in the app are yours. For important decisions, consult a qualified professional.
05Your account and security
You are responsible for giving accurate sign-up information, keeping your password confidential, and everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.
The app lock PIN is an extra layer of convenience on a shared or unlocked device. It does not replace your device's own lock or your account password.
06Your data
You keep ownership of everything you enter and upload. You give us permission to store, process, back up and display it only as needed to provide the service to you. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies in backups that are overwritten on a normal cycle.
You are responsible for having the right to upload anything you attach, and for records that mention other people, such as the counterparty on a loan.
07Offline use and sync
Changes made offline are kept on your device and sent when you reconnect. If you clear your browser data, sign out, or lose the device before a change has synced, that change may be lost. Pending changes are marked in the app so you can see what has not synced yet.
08Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Break the law or infringe anyone else's rights while using the service.
- Try to access accounts or data that are not yours, or probe, scan or test the service's security without our permission.
- Interfere with or overload the service, or use bots or scrapers against it.
- Upload malware or unlawful content, or use attachments to store anything unrelated to your records.
- Resell, copy or reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it.
09Fees
Wallet Tracker is currently free. If we introduce paid features, we will explain the price and give you notice before any charge applies. Nothing changes for you until you choose a paid option, and you can always export your data.
10Notifications and emails
Push notifications and digests are optional and can be turned off in Settings. We may send essential service messages, such as security or account notices, even if you have opted out of updates. Waitlist emails can be stopped at any time.
11Availability and changes
We work to keep Wallet Tracker available and reliable, but it may sometimes be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We may add, change or remove features over time. If we remove something important or plan to shut the service down, we will give reasonable notice so you can export your data.
12Ending your use
You can stop using Wallet Tracker at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Unless it is unsafe or unlawful to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to export your data.
13Disclaimers
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Keep your own records of anything important, and check key figures against your bank.
14Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or opportunities, arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law.
15Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service or the law changes. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, tell you in the app or by email in advance. If you keep using Wallet Tracker after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms. For questions, contact [email protected].
